Infusion, Decoction, Maceration, What's the Difference?


INFUSION
Generally utilized for tender parties (leafs, flowers, buds) it consist in throwing boiled water on the plants. Leave them in soak 10 minutes, then filter and drink.

DECOCTION
Tough parties (stems, roots, barks or grains) are placed in cold water. Then take them to boiling for 3 - 4 minutes, and leave them in soak for 10 minutes.

MACERATION
Reserved for substances which are heat susceptible, you can obtain it by leaving the plant inside cold water from 12 to 48 hours.
