Infusion, Decoction, Maceration, What's the Difference?


INFUSION
Generally utilized for tender parties (leafs, flowers, buds) it consist in throwing boiled water on the plants. Leave them in soak 10 minutes, then filter and drink.

DECOCTION
Tough parties (stems, roots, barks or grains) are placed in cold water. Then take them to boiling for 3 - 4 minutes, and leave them in soak for 10 minutes.

MACERATION
Reserved for substances which are heat susceptible, you can obtain it by leaving the plant inside cold water from 12 to 48 hours.

parts of a flower Petal: Stigma: Pistil: Ovary:



Petal: the petal is the most colorful part of the flwer. it is the part of the flower that attracts bees and other insects to pick up its pollen.


Stigma: the stigma is at the top of the pistil. The stigma traps the pollen to start the reproduction of he flower

Pistil: The pistil is is the femalereproductive system of a flower.

Ovary: The Ovary is were the eggs are stored and produced. their are manyeggs in the ovary. the ovary is located in the bottom part of the flower
