It is excellent for covering fences with its vigorous growth reaching around 8m (25ft). This variety is best grown in a sunny position to maintain the best flower colour.

It doesn't require pruning although you can to neaten it if required. Its abundance of twining stems make a good nesting place for birds. It is best planted in a moist position but not waterlogged, especially over the winter.
