Daphne odora 'Marianni' produces some of the most fantastic scent in the garden at this time of the year.

Daphne odora 'Marianni' - Plants of the month March 2012 | Plants Of the Month | Scoop.it
Beautiful waxy pale pink flowers backed in  deep pink produce a strong citrus fragrance with undertones of old English  rose. http://plantas-y-flores.blogspot.com/

It looks fantastic in a pot, as well as the border, where its bright golden  edged glossy dark green leaves will look outstanding throughout the year.  It is  slow growing only reaching 1.5m (5ft) in ten years.

It is best grown in partial shade in a fertile well-drained position.  An  excellent choice for the garden.
